V FEST READY: FESTIVAL ESSENTIALS*

Hi lovelies! I'm going to confess something, I've never actually been to a festival. Or not a 'proper' one at least. Unfortunately, this year isn't going to be any different, I desperately wanted to go to V Fest, the line up this year just looks amazing, Kodaline, The Killers, Ed Sheeran, Bastille, need I go on?? But as I've just recently started a new job, it was that or a week in Spain and after a very stressful few months some time away had to come first! However, it got me thinking how on earth I'd cope spending a few days without a proper shower, full length mirrors and general creature comforts that us 21st Century ladies are so used to! So, I thought I'd come up with a few tips for you guys as to what I would bring along if I were to go to V Fest.

First up, my hair gets seriously dry in the summer, so thisMacadamia Healing Oil Spray很适合放一些水分e的时候吗nds start getting fried. Obviously using too much can be a bit of a disaster too, so less is more, but just a tiny bit on the ends is an absolute must for me in the summer time, bye bye dry, frazzled ends, hello silky smooth locks!
Obvious one, but deodorant is essential for a festival. No showers for 2 or 3 days? Ew! So a nice smelling, good quality deo is a must. I think thisAdidasone is nice, as it's a pretty, fruity scent and let's face it, pink tops all.
While a lot of make up may not be your best bet, a good quality compact powder, particularly with a good sized mirror and handy powder puff inside like this gorgeousChanel Natural Finish Pressed Powder. A quick sweep of powder is great for greasy skin after lots of dancing and let's face it - lots of sweating!
While a full sized perfume isn't great for travelling bringing a long a small, fairly inexpensive, but good quality bottle like this 30mlPeace, Love, Juicy CoutureEDP, will ensure you smell fab all day long. The bottle also looks very 'festival like' in my opinion, just me??
Dry Shampoo is an obvious must for greasy roots, but have you ever considered a dry conditioner? ThisTigi Rockaholicone is meant to be fab and as someone with fairly dry hair, I need something to put moisture and shine back into my hair between washes.
Finally, the obvious one, but easily forgotten, sun cream! ThisPiz Buin Tan & Protect IntensifyingSpray will keep you protected while helping to enhance your tan at the same time - major bonus!

What do you think? What are your Festival Essentials?

  2. Festivals are my hair's nemesis! I always come back almost with dreads and it takes a whole bottle of conditioner to sort it out. I'm definitely taking dry conditioner as well as dry shampoo this year. I can't take the dreads any longer!
