BROW ARCH MARCH/ BENEFIT GIMME BROW REVIEW*

Gimme Brow- £17.50 each*

Hi lovelies! So... I have a confession to make. Despite being a beauty blogger, a trained beauty therapist and self confessed beauty junkie, I have been known to ignore my brows slightly, a little,每一天。我将蜡,以镊子除去他们世鹏科技电子e them, but I've never really been one for filling them in, or getting that 'perfect arch', because to be honest, I've always had quite full and fairly dark brows and being a blonde, I never really felt the need to do much with them. However, throughout February, I saw the 'Brow Arch March' campaign on Benefit's twitter page and thought, right, I'm going to start giving this brow thing a go!

So, when I received this surprise parcel from Benefit, I was thrilled to find not one, but two of their latest product 'Gimme Brow' inside! I was also interested to find out more about 'Brow Arch March', which I want to talk about a little before we get into the review. Brow Arch March is in support of 'Look Good, Feel Better' a cancer support charity that helps women manage the visible side effects of their treatment. I think it's an amazing cause, because as much as looks aren't everything, when a woman has cancer and has to to through chemotherapy, the effect it has on her looks can really bring her down. Look Good Feel Better helps women to do just that, look good and feel better! It is widely believed that a positive attitude in cancer patients is very important for their well being, so that's why I think this charity is such an amazingly worthy cause. Benefit counters in Debenhams are offering free brow wax and shape treatments during the month of March, all they ask in return is a suggested donation of £5 to the charity.Allproceeds will go directly to the charity, the treatment is totally free! So, if you can get down to a Debenhams Benefit counter, it's definitely worth it, perfect brows and helping out a very worthy cause, amazing!

So, onto the review! As I said, I was a bit of a brow product virgin and was unsure of where to start when it came to 'styling' my brows. However with 'Gimme Brow', it literally couldn't be easier! The little brush is the perfect size for eyebrows - unlike some other brow products I've seen which are big and bulky and just plain scary for newbies like me! I use the lighter shade and literally just brush it through my brows a couple of times, combing them into place as I go and in no time at all, I have perfectly shaped and slightly more filled in brows! What was great about this is despite it being the lighter shade, it tinted my slightly fairer brow hairs perfectly. I have a mix of light brown to light blonde hairs in my brows, with some hairs almost white, so I like that this really evens the colour out. The product also keeps my brows in placeallday, which is fab, as I have quite long brow hairs and find they tend to take on a life of their own by lunch time most days!

As the darker shade was definitely much too dark for me, I gave it to my Mum, who has dark brown hair, but struggles with lighter, sparse eyebrows. She often fills them in with powder, but since trying this hasn't done so since! The dark brown tints her fairer hairs perfectly and her brows look thicker and fuller in no more than 15 seconds, is that impressive or what? Another great way to use these is to fill in your brows with a powder or brow pencil, then swipe this over the top for real WOW brows.

Overall, I'd completely recommend these to absolutely anybody, they're a great, easy way to start if you're a brow novice like me, and a fab finishing touch to your brow routine if you're a bit of an expert.
