Hi lovelies! Today, Darren and I decided to have a very festive Sunday, so we hopped on the train and spent the afternoon wandering around London! We visited the Coca Cola Truck in Covent Garden, which was just amazing, I don't think there's anything that feels more Christmassy than seeing it there in front of you! I could just hear 'holidays are coming' in my head the whole time! We also went to the UK's only Shake Shack, also in Covent Garden, as Darren had been banging on about going for ages. I must say though, I get the hype. I had a hot dog, which was nice, but their fries are just incredible, if you ever get the chance to go then definitely do! We also had a (not so) little browse around the shops in Oxford Street, which is one of my favourite places to go at Christmas, all the lights are just gorgeous!
I just love London all year round and if you happen to be reading this in the New Year and you're in the mood for a bit of London Culture, why not go for some shopping in Oxford Street, see a West End Show or even check out the English National Opera in London. I've actually always wanted to experience the Opera but never got the chance to go!Maybe check outCosi Fan Tutte eno production, a show on this spring/ summer. The production is about two men that test their partners to see if they will be unfaithful given the chance, it was considered 'too naughty' back when it was brand new, so definitely not what you'd possibly expect from an Opera performance! I think maybe it's the wannabe Blair Waldorf in me that so desperately wants to go to the Opera and feel all cultured and classy!
