PRIMARK PRETTIES: £5 AND UNDER MINI HAUL

Hi lovelies! If you follow me on instagram you'll have already seen this little lot, but I just had to share some of the bits I picked up in Primark lately as I was so pleased with my bargains! The slipper socks are my third pair from Primark, as I have the Bambi and Tweety Pie ones already, but I just couldn't resist these pretty pink Minnie Mouse ones! At only £4 a go, how can you not? I really love these as I'm not one for big bulky slippers, so these are the perfect in between for me. And while we're talking about irresistibly cute but unnecessary purchases, how cute are these My Little Pony socks?! I couldn't leave them there, I just couldn't. These were only £2.50 too, so they just had to come home with me.

接下来是我的绝对最喜欢购买的day, this gorgeous leather look mini skirt! I got it in a size six and for once, it was very true to size and fit absolutely perfectly. Primark can be a bit hit and miss with their sizing but this was spot on, just the right length too (short, basically, I hate anything too long!!). The best part? This was on sale for £5!! Whaaaat?! I was thrilled to bits with this, so if you like it I'd get down to your local Primark asap to see if you can track down this gem! Finally, I picked up two statement necklaces, each only £5. I love Primark for trendy jewellery, as I don't like paying lots of money for things I might not wear too many times, or that might go out of style quickly. I think these will be perfect for dressing up a simple black dress on a night out, as it really livens up a plain outfit.

What do you think? Have you found any gems in Primark lately?

LOVING LATELY...

Hi lovelies! Today I thought I'd show you all a few of my favourite things I've bought/ received lately. I love seeing posts like this on other peoples blogs and I think it's often nice to share some of the slightly different things that you wouldn't generally see on my blog.

Something that popped through the post recently was this gorgeous 猫眼路标瞧ndon* Washbag从他们的新2014年集合。猫眼路标瞧ndon have sent me items in past and I was just as pleased with this one, fab quality and cute dogs? Perfection.

I absolutely adore this jumper* that was sent to me c/o chicnova.com , I have this in white with orange/yellow flowers, but I much prefer this one. It's a gorgeous blush pink/ peach with pink flowers and the ripped/ distressed effect on the sleeves and hem. I'll definitely try to feature it in a (long overdue) OOTD very soon!

On the topic of cute, how precious are these Bambi slippers? I picked these up in Primark lately for just £4, which was an absolute steal! I love these kind of sock slippers as I'm not really one for full on slippers or feeling like I'm wearing shoes in the house. These are super comfy and soft inside and they have Bambi on them, need I say more?

My sister bought me this gorgeous list book from Paperchase recently, it's nothing too exciting to most people, but I really do love a good list. It's pretty, it's pink, it's made specifically for lists and it has stickers at the back, which pleases me slightly too much. I'm 19, not 9, honest.

Finally, I decided my phone needed a New Years makeover as I've needed a new case for quite a while. As I have a Samsung Galaxy and not an iPhone, it's not quite so easy to find pretty cases, so when I fancy a new one, I always head over to eBay as they have the best selection! The one I got ishere, the seller has loads of designs for several types of phone, which is fab. I loved the pretty shoe design of this one, definitely the prettiest case I've had so far!

What little random things have you been loving lately?

*Marked items were gifted to me. All opinions are my own, not a sponsored post.

WINTER FLORALS

top - primark
skirt - primark
cardigan - topman (stolen off my boyfriend two years ago!)
boots - just fab
ring - topshop
necklace - dorothy perkins

Hi lovelies! There's something about the autumn/ winter time that makes me want to wear skirts and dressesallthe time. Maybe it's because there are so many pretty winter florals and tartan ones out at the moment, or maybe it's because I refuse to accept that it's actually far too cold to wear a skirt or dress most of the time. Thick tights and boots are my heroes though, I love this pair that I got from JustFab lately, I think the little gold touches make it a little more girly and cute than your average pair of military boots.
Sorry for the lack of the top of my body in these photos, I took them yesterday and I was feeling pretty rubbish with a very bad sore throat/ headache/ all over body ache. Ahh winter.

Hope you're having a lovely weekend!

BEAUTIFUL BARGAINS #1

Hello lovelies! As a blogger, I absolutely adore beauty products, makeup, clothes, accessories.. you name it! However, I'm much more likely to spend £30 on a single makeup item than I am £100 on an item of clothing. Clothes go in and out of fashion and I get tired of thingsveryquickly, so unless it's an absolute staple piece, I'm not about to spend lots of money on trendy clothes. Which is why I've decided to start up a mini series on my blog called 'Beautiful Bargains'. These posts will focus on one item, be it clothes or accessories, (or even beauty products if I find anything worthy!) that are an absolute bargain! These will all be items that are in stores at the time of publish you will be able to pop out to the shops and grab it yourself if you like it!

So, the first item is this gorgeous dress from Primark! You'll have seen this already if you saw my 'What I wore in Majorca' blog post. It's a beautiful, floral summer dress with cut outs at the side. This dress was only about £13 I think, which is amazing for such a gorgeous piece. It looks gorgeous with a tan as it peeks through the cut outs! (Although the flash on my camera made me look super pale!!). It's a little longer than I'd usually go for, but I think this is probably a good thing as it's spaghetti straps with cut outs. It makes it a little more appropriate to wear in the UK too, which I did in London the other day on a particularly hot day and it does a great job of keeping you nice and cool.

The quality of this dress is amazing too. It can be a bit hit and miss in Primark but this is so well made. I was a little worried as it has the straps and and lattice effect on the cut outs, but they all feel very firmly stitched into place and the material feels great quality and is very comfortable to wear. Well done Primark!

So, let me know if you like this kind of post as I'd love to do more if you do!
What bargains have you been loving lately?

COLLECTIVE HAUL + HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Hello lovelies! Guess what day it is?? Did you guess? It's my birthday! Me and my Twin Sister Hannah turn 19 today, (which is my excuse for all this shopping I've been doing lately). Some of you may have seen on instagram and twitter that I went shopping yesterday at Westfields in Stratford. Westfields is one of my all time favourite places to shop so I went a little bit crazy. I could have gone a lotmorecrazy though so let's concentrate on the fact that I do havesomeself control, okay? Okay! So, some of what you see above was purchased before yesterday but I thought I'd throw it all in as one big collective haul anyway. So, let's talk about all this fabulous stuff!

First up is something I didn't buy in Westfield as it's from Primark and any big London Primark is just a no-go for me, me and my boyfriend went in and were out again in about two minutes. Even on a Sunday afternoon it was insanely busy. So this is something I got in my not so crazy Primark at home. It's a gorgeous little black lace crop top, almost exactly like the ones in Topshop - for just £4! I couldn't believe my luck when I found this beauty! It's sheer lace at the back and has lining at the front so you don't need to worry about having too much bra on show, which is great.

Next is the reason I bought the black lace top - this gorgeous neon yellow skirt from missguided. I saw this on Melissa frompretty little obsessionsinstagram and fell in love, she posted a pic saying she'd just ordered it and I went straight onto their website and copied her (she didn't seem to mind, thanks for the inspiration Melissa!). You may have seen that I instagrammed a photo on Saturday night of me wearing this paired with the black lace top - you can see ithere. It was a bit of a crazy outfit but I loved it.

When I ordered the skirt, I also tweeted about missguided's tasseled bikinis and you lovely lot all told me that yes, Ididneed to buy one. You were right, I did. I love this bikini, it looks so simple yet so cool and interesting - I can't wait to wear it when me and my boyfriend go on holiday next month - exciting!

Another thing I got pre-westfields was these lovely bright pink trainers for the gym. I was going to wait until I went shopping to buy these but I ordered them online a few days ago as no one wants to carry shoes around with them all day! I was a bit nervous ordering these online as buying shoes online doesn't always go down well, but these fit perfectly and they're super comfortable andsolightweight, the gorgeous colour doesn't exactly hurt either ;)

On the topic of the gym, forever 21 have some gorgeous gym clothes! I was seriously impressed with the range they had and I could easily have boughtsomuch more - but I was good! The sports bra, vest top and bottoms came to less than £30 together, which is great and the quality is really good too. I can't wait to wear these - who says you can't look girly and cute at the gym!

More gym wear next, these were from an actual sports shop though as I wanted to get free next day delivery on my trainers and as it never hurts to have extra gym clothes (they are definitely not the kind of clothes you get away with wearing twice before washing!!) I decided to bump up my order and get this plain black top, which is from a brand called pure, which is a cheaper brand, but the quality is pretty good. I also got some adidas leggings, which are fab because they're incredible quality and have neon pink stripes down the side - what's not to love?

This purse from River Island was my first purchase in Westfields, I'd snuck off while my boyfriend was looking at the men's section and decided to buy it while he wasn't looking. He doesn't understand my love for neon right now, I think it scares him a bit. This was only £20, which I think is really good for a lovely purse - and I absolutely love River Island for things like this, I definitely think they beat most other high street stores with their bags and purses, the quality for price is just amazing. I bought a handbag from their around New Years and it's still like new.

Next is my most extravagant but easily my favourite purchase of the day. As I said, today is my birthday so that was on my mind when I bought it. This bikini is from Victoria's Secret and I absolutely adore it. I love a white bikini - particularly with a tan but the gorgeous jewel detailing just screamed BUY MEEE! So I did. Yes, it was a bit more expensive than my other topshop/ missguided bikinis, but it's so so worth it. P.S. The Victoria's Secret fitting rooms are the most magical place on earth, forget Disney Land - your own hot pink dressing room and they put your name on the door. Just let me move in, please.

Let me start by saying how controlled I was in MAC. I nearly bough three eyeshadows, a lipstick, a bronzer and this blush, but I realised how unnecessary that was and ended up with just this. It's the MAC Powder Blush in Fleur Power. I bought this as I sometimes like to set my cream blushes with a powder blush for an extra pop of colour and a super long lasting finish. This is a gorgeous coral pink, I'll definitely review this as I love it so much.

Next is something I bought a few days ago, it's a gorgeous nude dress with stunning gold detailing around the neckline. This was only £14.99 in TK Maxx so how could I say no? I have no idea where I'm going to wear this but I can't wait! I think it looks so much more expensive than it was, you really can find some gems in TK Maxx if you can be bothered to sort through the rubbish!

I caved, I finally caved. I saw this when Darren and I first got to Westfields and just before we had to catch the train, we did a last minute dash back to John Lewis as I decided I definitely needed this. I absolutely adore this bag, I'm going to use it as a beach bag/ hand luggage bag when I go away in June. It matches the Ted Baker Flip Flops I was sent a while ago too so that'a bit of a bonus!

Phew! So, what do you all think? I'd love to know!
I'm off to get ready to enjoy my birthday - hope you all have a fab day!

BIG CLOTHING HAUL, ASOS, TOPSHOP, RIVER ISLAND, PRIMARK + MORE

Hello lovelies! I hope you've all had a fab weekend, I'm suuper excited as we've finally got a bit of sun here in the UK, about bloody time! If you follow me on twitter or instagram, you'll have seen lots of photos of shopping bags and piles of clothes etc because something very exciting happened the other day. I wonStyle in View's#tweet2win competition and won £300! I'd chosen some items already in the competition but some weren't in my size so I decided to go for a few different bits and pieces instead. Style in View is a fab fashion search engine, definitely worth checking out if you haven't already. It makes online shopping so much easier having everything in one place! Anyway onto what I bought, I've linked all the items I can find incase you fancy a peek.

Cat Moustache Tee -River Island on ASOS- I love this tshirt, it's fab for the monochrome trend this season, but it's also really fun and easy to wear. So cute!

Red Skater Skirt -ASOS——我爱滑冰选手的裙子,我想they're perfect for the spring/ summer time as they're so easy to wear. I particularly love this one with black and white tshirts.

It Girl Tee -Mango on ASOS- Little bit of a cringe at what this top says, but like I said, I love skater skirts with black and white t-shirts and I really like the style of this one.

Frill Ankle Socks - Primark - I love these little socks, I think they'll look fab with skirts and dresses in the warmer weather.

Red Vans* -ASOSc/oBST Hyde Park- These were actually sent to me and are the only item I didn't actually purchase but I seriously love these. I love them with the little socks and think I'll wear them to travel in when I go on holiday this year as they're so comfy.

White Cropped Tee -ASOS- I've always liked these kinds of tops but never thought I'd be brave enough for them, but I thought they'd look nice with skater skirts and high waisted shorts, particularly on holiday - so I decided to just go for it!

Coral Box Pleat Skater Skirt -River Island on ASOS- I really love the colour of this skirt, it's quite thick so I was worried it'd make the hip area look a little bit wider than it really is, but it's not too bad and it's such a pretty colour I think it can be forgiven!

Striped Top -River Island on ASOS- I'm going to just say it, I bought this because I saw Taylor Swift wearing one similar and I loved it so much. Perfect for the monochrome trend and I love it with these kinds of skirts.

Red Skater Dress -ASOS——我真的很喜欢t恤穿的像这个e is a little bit longer than I'm generally used to but I'm sure I'll get over it! I love the bright red colour of this, I can't wait for the warmer weather to wear this.

Blue Lace Dress - Miss Selfridge - I bought this dress for Darren's Mum's wedding, which is late next month. I love the colour and the fit and I think it's perfect for a summer wedding - provided we get the summer weather at the end of May!

Black Crop Top -ASOS- This is exactly the same as the white but in black (obvious), I thought I'd get this in a couple of colours and black and white tend to go with everything.

Aztec Skirt -River Island- The link I've done for this one is actually an ASOS link as I couldn't find it on the River Island website, but I actually got this in the sale in River Island for £10, so it's definitely worth looking in your local store if you like it! I love the style of this skirt, I particularly like how it looks with the cropped black tee too.

Polka Dot Bikini -Topshop- Me and Darren booked a holiday to Majorca a few days ago so of course, in holiday mode I had to buy a new bikini. I love the style of this one, it's underwired so it has a lot of support which I like. I'm not particularly chesty (at all) but I do like a bit of support from my swimwear none the less!

裸体弓拖鞋-普里马克我喜欢这些。他们were only £2.50 in Primark which I think is bloody amazing, I really like the nude colour too as they'll go with pretty much anything.

White Sandals - Primark - Another Primark bargain at only £4, I love the little sparkly bits on these, they're super simple but I think it really adds something to them. I love white sandals with tanned feet too!

Phew! So that's it, hope you enjoyed this post! What's your favourite thing that I got?

WHAT'S IN MY BAG

After doing my post'Sales Haul'in which I featured my new handbag, I realised I hadn't done a what's in my bag post for a while. I'm not sure why everyone (myself included) loves these types of posts so much but they can be quite interesting - especially for nosey people, which, let's face it, all of us are!
So as you'll probably know from my last post, my bag is from River Island and as I mentioned in that post, I like to start the new year with a new bag, all tidy and organised. So because of that, my bag is nice and organised at the moment, no clutter and no mess! I decided I'd only carry around what I consider 'essentials' so this is what I have.
Macy's Make Up Bag containing:
Collection Eyeliner Pen
Primark Powder Brush (shockingly good)
Avon Mascara
Boux Avenue Mirror
Carmex Lip Balm
Collection Pressed Powder
Topshop 'Flush' Blush
MAC Hue Lipstick
MAC Creme D'Nude
Topshop Secret Admirer Lipstick
Topshop Nevada Lipstick
Topshop Powder Room Lip Pencil
Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker
Hairspray
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation
Soap and Glory Hand Maid
Soap and Glory Hand Food
Now, in fairness, this may seem like a lot of make uppy bits and bobs to be carrying around every day and maybe it is. But I like to have everything I need for touch ups during the day because you never know! I also definitely need 7 lip products, purely because I'm the kind of person that changes their lip colour throughout the day. Enough excuses? Let's move on.

Next is my beloved Ted Baker notebook and sparkly pen (not entirely sure where this came from), there's something about pretty stationary that just makes me happy. It might seem a bit excessive to have a designer notebook, probably because itisa bit excessive, but it's beautiful so I can't say I care, (Plus it was on sale!).
Then I have my lovely purse, which I bought in TK Maxx a while ago, I did a longer post on ithere, although it's faded a lot since then! I still love it though, it has lots of card slots which I like.
Then we have my super old well loved Ipod, my keys and my umbrella (always necessary)

So that's all! Hope you enjoyed this post and let me know if you've done a what's in my bag post, as I love to read them!
